Inner glow is a limited-edition, designer chandelier that unites kaia’s classic, glass and brass materials, with a more organic material: paper.

Produced in puglia, the paper goes through a papier-mâché process and has a raw, textural quality to it that resembles stone. The paper appears to “grow” over the champagne coloured glass orbs, which mirrors the slow ecological spread of moss and fungi.

The rough, organic paper stands in striking contrast to both the translucent, egg-like glass and the precise geometric lines of the brass structure. Sophie dries successfully reflects on the duality of the organic and geometric, the natural and artificial - the chandelier proposes the possibility of a quiet and harmonious coexistence.
