DECOREX
LONDON · 2023
For Decorex 2023, we created an installation that placed sustainability at the heart of both its concept and its materiality—reflecting a core value that defines KAIA’s approach to design. Every element of the stand was developed to highlight how thoughtful craftsmanship, responsible sourcing, and artistic collaboration can come together to form a cohesive, impactful environment. From recycled ceramics and papier-mâché to naturally aging metals and conceptual storytelling, the installation demonstrated how sustainable practices can elevate — not limit — the creative process.
THE NEKTAR
Created in collaboration with artist Maximilian Prüfer, The Nektar expands on our joint work following The Hive installation at the Weltmuseum Vienna. Designed to draw attention to the global decline of insect populations, the piece translates this urgent ecological message into a poetic and immersive visual experience.
GLOW SUSPENSION
Architect and designer Sophie Dries created the Glow Suspension with sustainability at its core. A recycled papier-mâché coating, crafted in Puglia, wraps around a hand-blown glass form, resulting in a tactile, organic surface that highlights the beauty of reused material.
